Paper wasps are slender, long-legged wasps that construct small, umbrella-shaped nests under eaves, decks, and outdoor structures. They are common in Salt Lake City, Park City, Heber, Kamas, Midway, Sugarhouse, and surrounding areas. While generally not aggressive unless provoked, paper wasps can sting, making it important to manage nests safely or call a professional.
